Charlies on Union Quay is one of Cork’s few early houses and is open from 7am! You don’t get pubs like this anymore, especially with this amount of character and history. I was sitting at the bar drinking my Murphys and all around me, I saw people from all walks of life from 18 to 80! It’s lovely to see people come together like this which is sadly rare these days. This pub seems to have that magical pull on everyone.
